Who it's for
Employers with three or more employees in Connecticut, and the employees and supervisors they train.
The rules
Connecticut Public Act 19-16 requires employers with three or more employees to provide sexual harassment training to all employees. New employees are trained within six months of hire, with supplemental training at least every ten years. The law asks for two hours of training, and employers must email employees information about the law within three months of hire.

Connecticut asks for two hours of training. This course has about an hour of narrated lessons plus scenario quizzes and module assessments. Ask your counsel how that time counts for your organization before you rely on it.
The course
The course is built in modules, each with short lessons, real-world scenarios and quizzes. Here is what each module is for.
Module 1
Connect Connecticut sexual harassment prevention with everyday workplace judgment through introductory learning that helps you recognize concerns before you move into more detailed practical situations.
Module 2
Work through varied workplace situations to test your interpretation of sexual harassment prevention concepts, then consider how your choices can affect the people around you.
Module 3
Viewed through a leadership lens, this module asks you to apply earlier learning to workplace decisions and recognize how management choices influence the working environment.
Module 4
Turn your attention to more involved workplace responses, using the course concepts to evaluate decisions and explain your reasoning when a situation requires careful judgment.
Your role
Training is one part of a program. These are the parts only your organization can supply.

Yes. Every PixelPupil course is available in English and in Spanish, with Spanish narration (the Spanish title is Capacitación para la Prevención del Acoso Sexual en Connecticut).
No course can do that on its own. This is general training based on the rules described on this page. It is not approved or endorsed by any government agency, and the certificate is a record that the person completed the course. Your organization still provides its own policies, procedures and records, and you should check the rules that apply to you with your own advisor.
